Hi, I'm John!

I am an electrical engineer and physicist by trade, and I am studying to become a cybersecurity professional. I have been fortunate to have worked in a wide range of domains over my career, including power systems engineering, OLED display R&D, and lawful intelligence/intercept. Although these fields seem disparate at first, an overwhelming emphasis of these industries is the focus on data privacy and cybersecurity.

The world around us is accelerating at an alarming rate, and it can be difficult for businesses to stay up to date on the latest developments in cybersecurity, and even more difficult for individuals. My mission with this blog is to inform users of privacy concerns associated with online platforms, and to provide actionable steps for content consumers to engage with the internet without having to worry about compromising their personal data.
